AirfieldDaily FieldLog Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AirfieldDaily FieldLog ("we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses information through our construction and airfield reporting application, and explains the privacy rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and role, provided when an Owner or VP of Operations provisions your account.
- Login credentials: your password is stored and verified by our authentication provider, WorkOS (see "Third-Party Service Providers" below) — AirfieldDaily FieldLog does not itself store your password.
- Operational data you or your organization enter: projects (including contract dates and contractor/superintendent contact details), daily reports (weather, site conditions, work performed by location, materials testing notes, labor force, and equipment), and weekly reports.
- Third-party contact information: daily reports may include the name and phone number of on-site personnel (e.g., a contractor's superintendent) who are not themselves AirfieldDaily FieldLog users. If you enter this information, you are responsible for having the appropriate authority to share it in a construction-reporting context.
- Technical and security data: IP address, session identifiers (including a single-active-session marker used to prevent concurrent logins), request logs, and security event logs (e.g., failed login attempts, rate-limit and IP-ban events), collected automatically to operate and secure the application.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the application, including authentication, project/report management, and dashboard features.
- To secure the application, including rate limiting, automated abuse mitigation (dynamic IP banning), and real-time security alerting.
- To communicate with you about your account, password resets, or requests you submit.
Cookies
AirfieldDaily FieldLog uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to authenticate you, keep your session secure, and protect forms from forgery — for example, cookies that keep you signed in and enforce our single-active-session security rule. We do not use advertising, marketing, or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies we use and why.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following service providers to operate the application. Each processes data solely to provide their respective service to us:
- WorkOS — authentication, password storage/verification, and session management.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email (password reset links, security alerts).
Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We do not sell or share personal information collected through AirfieldDaily FieldLog, as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
Your CCPA Rights
- Right to Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you. We will respond with an actual summary of what's on file (or confirm that no account exists for the email address you provide).
- Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal information. In practice, most of what we store about an account holder — daily reports, weekly reports, and timesheets — is generated in the course of FAA-regulated airfield construction work and is retained as required by FAA reporting requirements and our construction contracts. This is a legal retention exception recognized by the CCPA, not a discretionary refusal, and a Right to Delete request for this kind of record will generally be denied on that basis. What we can do on request is revoke an account's access going forward — the underlying report records themselves remain, unaltered, as the retained construction record.
To submit a Right to Know or Right to Delete request, use our Privacy Request form. We will respond to every request submitted this way, with a substantive answer, within a reasonable time consistent with applicable law.
